Building green from new provides you with a far superior home than just building to the building codes minimum requirements - building green from new ensures your investment will go up and if implemented from new it wont mean significant increases in the cost to build.

Being active members of the New Zealand Green Build Council and the new Homestar residential rating systems - we are very well placed to offer the most up to date, practical and affordable information on anything green build related.

We can show you how to introduce green technologies into your current home or into any new alterations or extensions you are planning.

BUILD :
Having worked in the Wellington region and especially the Porirua District for many years we have an extremely good local knowledge of the local construction firms and the one man building companies that operate in our area. We know who is expensive, well priced, trust worthy and so on.

We can organize a full tender process for your project large or small and we invite those companies best suited to your particular project. We can work alongside the builders during the construction period and act as an independent go - between to ensure fairness and quality is maintained throughout the project.

OUR AIM

Our first aim is to take the confusion, fuss stress and worry out of building anything from a garden shed or deck to a multimillion dollar housing development. We will work with you and guide you through the maze that is the building industry, answer all your queries and work tirelessly to ensure you achieve everything you want and more.
But our aim for Forturo is not just to be the automatic choice for people when they start to think about building, but to also make ourselves available to everyone for free advise and information, links to other organizations, events in the area related to design - in short we aim to be your one stop shop for everything design and or build, a place where you can come along ask the craziest of questions and obtain solid, reliable and obligation free advise.
